| Description: | The cholinesterase assays were performed using colorimetric method reported by Ellman. Enzyme activity was determined by measuring the absorbance at 420 nm after 7 min, relative to the drug-free control. Triplicate measurements were carried out at a total of six drug concentrations. The IC50 values were determined from a plot of percentage of inhibition vs -log [drug], which was processed by Sigma Plot 4.0. |
