| Description: | Inhibitors were assayed against purified hMMP-1, hMMP-2, hMMP-3, hMMP-8, hMMP-9, and hMMP-13 using an enzyme assay based on cleavage of the quenched fluorogenic peptide substrate. The increase in fluorescence due to cleavage of the substrate was measured with a fluorescence microplate reader. The Ki values were calculated by nonlinear regression analysis using the percent inhibition, and Km values of the substrates for each MMP. |
