Assay Method Information

Assay Name:  Dipeptidyl Peptidase Inhibition Assay
Description:  The enzyme activity resulted in the formation of the fluorescent product amidomethylcoumarin (AMC), which was monitored by excitation at 360 nm and measurement of fluorescent emission at 460 nm using 96-well plate fluorometer. The data are reported as % inhibition calculated as follows: % Inhibition = 100 (1 - (Vt/Vc)), where Vt is the rate of reaction of treated sample and Vc is the rate of reaction of control sample.
