| | Colorimetric Determination of ATPase Activity |
| Description: | The HSP90 ATPase activity was determined by following the procedure of malachite green assay. The assay is based on quantitation of the green complex formed between Malachite Green, molybdate and free phosphate. The yeast HSP90 is incubated in assay buffer containing ATP with or without test compounds. The reaction is stopped by the addition of malachite green reagent. The absorbance is then determined at 620 nm. |
