| Description: | Enzyme activity was determined as the production of fluorescent 4-MU from the substrate. The fluorescence was measured (excitation 362 nm, emission 450 nm) with an F-4500 fluorescence spectrophotometer. Kinetic parameters were determined by the double-reciprocal-plot method of Lineweaver-Burk at increasing concentrations of 4-MU-beta-D-glucoside. |
