| Description: | TS was assayed spectrophotometrically in the reaction buffer solution containing (6R, 6S)-5, 10-CH2H4folate. The reaction was initiated by the addition of an amount of enzyme yielding a change in absorbance at 340 nm of 0.016/min in the absence of inhibitor. Ki values were obtained from the linear least-squares fit of the residual activity as a function of inhibitor concentration, using suitable equations for competitive inhibition. |
