| Description: | The assay is based upon displacement of a fluorescently labeled molecule, which binds specifically to the ATP-binding site of full-length human Hsp90. The competitive displacement was monitored by a decrease in fluorescence polarization of the probe-Hsp90 complex when the inhibitor binds. IC50 values were calculated on the difference in anisotropy from the first and second reads. EC50/IC50 values were measured from HCT116 cell growth inhibition using the SRB method. |
