| Description: | After substrate hydrolysis reaction, the absorbance at 405 nm was measured in a microplate reader. Percentages of inhibition at each concentration were calculated from the OD405 nm value from the experimental and control samples. IC50 values were calculated from a sigmoidal dose-response non linear regression equation using GraphPad Prism, version 5.01 (GraphPad Software). The reported IC50 are expressed as mean of measurements. |
