| Description: | Enzyme assays were performed using purified recombinant human 11beta-HSD1. The fractional conversion of cortisone to cortisol was used to determine enzyme activities. The radioactive cortisol generated in the assay was captured by a monoclonal anti-cortisol antibody and SPA beads coated with anti-mouse antibodies. Radiometric quantitation was determined on a TopCount NXT instrument. |
