| Description: | HIV protease inhibitor activities were determined by fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) method. Protease substrate, Arg-Glu-(EDANS)-Ser-Gln-Asn-Tyr-Pro-Ile-Val-Gln-Lys(DABCYL)-Arg, was labeled with the energy transfer donor (EDANS) and acceptor (DABCYL) dyes at its two ends to perform FRET. Fluorescence measurements were carried out on an EnVision plate reader (PerkinElmer). |
