| Description: | The inhibitory effect of test compound for human thrombin was determined by using the chromogenic substrates S-2366. The hydrolysis rates of chromogenic substrates were assayed by continuously measuring absorbance at 405 nm. Inhibition constants were calculated from the slope of the progress curves during the linear part of the time course, typically between 1 and 5 min following addition of substrate to the assay. |
