| | S1P Receptor Binding Assay |
| Description: | The assay measures the displacement of [33P]-labeled sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) by test compounds from human S1P receptors expressed on CHO cell membranes. Binding was performed for 60 min at room temperature and terminated by collecting the membranes onto GF/B filter plates with a Packard Filtermate Universal Harvester. Filter bound radionuclide was measured on a PerkinElmer 1450 MicroBeta. Specific binding was calculated by subtracting radioactivity that remained in the presence of 1000-fold excess of unlabeled S1P. |
