| | FAAH Inhibition Assay |
| Description: | The inhibition assays were performed by incubating enzyme, 14C-labeled oleamide in reaction buffer at room temperature in the presence of three different concentrations of inhibitor. The 14C-labeled oleamide (substrate) and oleic acid (product) were extracted and analyzed by TLC. The Ki of the inhibitor was calculated using a Dixon plot. Lineweaver-Burk analysis was performed, confirming competitive, reversible inhibition. |
