| Description: | The Fluor-de-Lys HDAC activity assay kit (Biomol) was used. Affinity purified recombinant HDAC1 enzyme was incubated with acetylated histone H4 peptide in the presence of test compounds. Fluor-de-Lys Developer was then added, and the mixture was incubated for another 10 min at room temperature. Fluorescence was measured using a fluorescent plate reader, with excitation 360 nm and emission 465 nm. |
