| Description: | Briefly, Bc-SMase (50 ng/ml) was treated at 37 °C for 60 min with various compounds that were solubilized in dimethylacetoamide. The reaction mixture was incubated at 37 °C for 5 h with 1.0mM SM from bovine brain (Nacalai, Kyoto, Japan) that was solubilized in a solution containing 20mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 1.0% sodium cholate, and 1mM MgCl2. The turbidity of the reaction mixture was analysed by absorption spectrometer at 620 nm. |
