| Description: | A panel of cell lines and integrin ligands were developed to allow rapid examination of potency and specificity of inhibitors against all 8 integrins that recognize RGD sequences in ligands. A subset of these was used to generate the very encouraging data about 8 shown above. These cell lines were used to calculate IC50 concentrations for each inhibitor synthesized to rapidly generate structure activity information to drive subsequent modification and synthesis. Inhibitors were evaluated for showing better potency/selectivity in CCl4-induced liver fibrosis. |
