| Ambit KinomeScan Assay |
Description: | This assay is an ATP-site dependent competition binding assay in which human kinases of interest are fused to a proprietary tag (T7 bacteriophage). The amount of kinase bound to an immobilized, active-site directed ligand is measured in the presence and absence of the test compound. Ambit's JAK assays use kinase domains and not full-length proteins. The domain used for JAK1 binding is the pseudo kinase domain while that for JAK3 binding is the catalytic domain (Mazen W Karaman, Sanna Herrgard, Daniel K Treiber, et. al. A Quantitative analysis of kinase inhibitor selectivity. Nature Biotechnology, 2008, Volume 26, No. 1, Page 127-132). |
