| Description: | IC50 is the inhibitor concentration which inhibits 50% of EGF-R or PDGFR-beta kinase autophosphorylation activity. The assay was performed in 96-well microtiter plates precoated with PDGFR-beta or EGFR-specific monoclonal antibodies to capture the respective receptors from lysates. The amount of phosphotyrosine present on the receptors was determined by incubating the immunolocalized receptor with a biotinylated monoclonal antibody directed against phosphotyrosine. |
