| Description: | Binding affinities (IC50) of the ligands were studied in a Molt-4 T-cell adhesion assay by inhibiting the alpha-4/beta-1 mediated cell adhesion to CS-1 peptides. The 96-well plates were coated with neutravidin, followed by biotinconjugated CS-1 peptides. Cells with series dilutions of tested ligands in binding buffer were added and allowed to bind for 30 min. Bound cells were recorded using a 96-well plate reader at 570 nm. IC50 values were calculated from inhibition curves resulting from the concentration-dependent inhibition. |
