| Description: | Botox A catalyzed the hydrolysis of substrate peptide between residues 11 (glutamine) and 12 (arginine), corresponding to residues 197 and 198 of SNAP-25. Percent inhibition measurements were performed in duplicate, and in all cases standard deviations were less than +/-25%. IC50 values for the inhibitors were calculated from plots of concentration versus inhibition using 7-9 concentrations of inhibitors. |
